Is this a X Type or S Type? When the engine will not crank do any warning lights or messages come on?
Double check your battery as sometimes they will crack at the negative post and corrode the cable. If the battery is ok and the cable connections are clean and secure we will need to check a few things. Next time the problem happens see if the P is lite up red on the shifter and see if it will release from park.
