VerifiedThe computer system is designed to RUN the RADIATOR FAN CONTINOUSLY if no COOLANT is touching the (ECT) Electronic Coolant Temperature Sensor. That is what is going on, the fan will run continuously if the coolant is low.
I highly recommend you not over heat this vehicle too much, you will blow a head gasket or end up creating a huge repair bill over a $5.00 radiator hose for example. Man, at least put a can of radiator stop leak in temporarily so you slow or stop the leak and after repairs you can have it flushed.
