The problem may be a faulty electronic parking brake module or motor itself. This will need to be checked with a Jaguar service tool. I recommend that you try to reset the brake first. DIsconnect the negative battery cable for 10 minutes. Then reconnect it and start the engine. It will say "Apply park brake" on the message center. Pump the brakes then while holding your foot on the brake pedal pull up on the park brake switch handle. This should reset the brake and may rectify the problem.
