When you start to accelerate does the engine rev up then bang into gear? Is the transmission fault warning message or check engine light on?
Sounds like you are having problems with the forward drum as I usually see them burn up and crack. Since you did have the transmission rebuilt most shops offer a warranty on their repair. This is the direction you should pursue as the shop should stand behind their repair.
