As a distributor for over 10 years for a UK supplier what minimum

This answer was rated:

As a distributor for over 10 years for a UK supplier what minimum termination notice period must they give us.

Buachaill :

1. In law you are entitled to "reasonable notice" upon the termination of distributorship contract. Where the distributor relationship has existed for over 10 years, then you would be entitled to a minimum of one months notice of termination of the distributor contract. Regrettably it is not longer as the law allows full freedom of contract where commercial relationships are involved.
