Deutz 3 cylinder engine in an Ingersoll rand compressor won't start got fuel to injectors, bleed and bleed .fresh fuel pump new oil, new fuel filter. Lots of black smoke when cranking .. was running up until 2 weeks ago.became increasing hard to start. black smoke again when cranking then would clear up when running..

Fuel is fresh and not contaminated with gasoline? Compressor is not loading the engine, making it hard to turn and start? If you have fuel squirting at the injectors, and black smoke, the fuel is not being burned or is over fueling. Or a lack of air.?? Has engine been sucking dirt, where air filter may have been left out?
