We have a Hyster H60 Fotis and it will not go forward and only sometimes in reverse and the display has a code: 523930 - 1 Truck Disabled
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: one sec
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: it is a: Model H60Ft-AF Ser# *****
JA: Anything else you want the equipment mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: yes I am trying to fix it and so far I have just looked it over to verify there is nothing out of the ordinary messed up and everything looks good so far

Good morning sorry for delay

There are two micro switches that the shiftier lever trips to get forward and reverse, one must close and one must be open, if one is stuck or not working you will only get intermittent drive direction.

Use a Ohm meter to make sure they open/close while moving shiftier Note: the switches be wired N/O or N/Cso check how they are wired before disconnecting wires to replace switches, always replace both to avoid future issues
