Customer Question

we have a jlg model 60H lift built in 1985. I extended boom all the way out. Now the boom up/down, boom left/right and machine fwd/rev will not operate. Everything works from the groud station but not from the bucket.

If your ground controls work but your bucket does not check the foot pedal switch the inside should have two switches with an adjustment rocker for setting the switch throw if the switches are good then check under the controls in the basket for a relay (ice cube style) to see if it needs to be replaced.

the 'dead man" switch works fine because I can use the bucket tilt, bucket rotate, boom in/out & steering wheel controls. So I know the "dead man" switch is fine. I am not familiar with your term "ice cube" style relay. never heard it before.

an ice cube relay is a clear rectangle relay with 8 pins on the bottom usually made by square d, eaton, or telemechanique. also a lose wire on the bottom right terminal block will cause this type of problem (Forgive me I do not remember what wires go were the inside of that control panel is a spider web of wires.
