Working on a Sullair 900/1150XHDTQ-CA3. At 2220 hrs. the compressor

Customer Question

Working on a Sullair 900/1150XHDTQ-CA3. At 2220 hrs. the compressor saturated the air intake filters with compressor oil to the point oil would flood the main house. Inspected and replaced the seperator filter and installed new intake filters. Drained the receiver and refilled with Syndustrial rotary compressor oil to proper level, sent the compressor back out on a job and it operated 113hrs. And has oiled the filters again. The seperator filter was in good condition on the first inspection but was replaced anyway. Recommendations??

Hi Vern, My name is***** like potentially there is excessive blowby, head gasket problem, and /or a timing issue on your compressor. Are you referring to the engine intake filters or the compressor side?
