My boom truck will operate from below but not in the bucket.

Customer Question

My boom truck will operate from below but not in the bucket. The fluid was low so I put in hydraulic fluid and it still does the same. The override lever moves but it is not working. How do I get the controls to the bucket working?

Typically in this case there's either a bad emergency stop button on the platform or a bad food switch on the platform.

I'm not sure what your controls look like but sometimes there's a switch on the base that you can switch controls to the platform and sometimes those switches will go bad.
It's usually something pretty simple though.
