i have a 1985 6034 skytrack a local mechanic just put anew tourqe converter and pump in it it still does the same thing the front wheel engages buit not the tranny could thetre be a bad valve in the foot pedal linkage

6034 has a Ford tractor drive train. The front wheel drive is hydraulic drive and has nothing to do with the rear wheel drive. If you shift gears, do you get any indication that the transmission shaft is turning? How did unit lose drive? You could have a broken axle shaft, and unit won't drive! If both rear wheels are raised, and one is turned by hand, does the other tire turn in opposite direction? If not, you have something broken in the rear end or axle.

the tractor will move for about 5 minutes until the fluid warms up then it dont want to move like i said new converter and pump has to be something in the valve on the footpedal that engauges the forward and reverse

forward and reverse clutches were not resealed? What happens to he transmission pressure when it warms?

Valve body for f/r is on top of the torque converter housing and the valves and spring would need to be checked.
