I have a few questions. I'm a US citizen. My fiancé is a Spanish citizen from Barcelona. We have been together for 2 years. I am currently in Spain with him while he finished up dental treatment and then we plan to move to the US. We wanted to get married while I was here, as his grandmother is 94 years old and too old to travel anywhere. However, we are still waiting for some papers before we can file for the civil matrimony. My 90 days for staying in the Shengen area expires December 30th. At this point we don't think that filing papers for marriage will be reviewed and approved in time.
