Hello! My name is Guillermo Senmartin and I am a licensed attorney with more than 17 years of experience. I am here to assist you with your questions. If I do not respond quickly, I promise I will be back as soon as I can. I have my own law practice and sometimes I go to court, attend my own clients, or help other customers at the same time. I could just be very busy, but I AM NOT IGNORING YOU!

Also, I understand you might get a prompt asking if you want to work with another expert, but just ignore it. Please do NOT click on the Opt Out button because if you do, it would prevent me from communicating with you and there is no guarantee that a new expert will respond any faster.

Please understand that if I ask you for additional information, you are NOT charged again and our communications are NOT timed. I am here to help.

Sorry for the delay. I just ask that if the answer is not good news that you not shoot the messenger. Shooting the messenger is either leaving a negative rating (usually reserved for rude or unprofessional experts) or not leaving a positive rating at all.

================================================
We would like to discuss with you on the following topics:

Wife :
1. It’s been more than 6 months from the date of filing the I-485 petition. Assuming the risk can she quit her current job. Stay unemployed / unpaid sabbatical leave for few months ~6 months. Presuming that she is able to rejoin the same employer / new employer and filed an update J form before USCUS adjudication on the I-485 petition

1a.Can she stay / legal stays in US
1b.During this period can the husband continue to work on EAD / travel on AP.

Husband:
2. H1b is Max Out at Nov 2020. Is there any benefit to ask the employer to file PERM / I-140 and extend the H1b.
2a. Wife H1b has been approved till Oct 2022. Should the Husband also file H4 and EAD.
2b. Will the H4 EAD conflict with I-485 EAD ( eg Validity )

And follow-ups on this.
