My OPT got denied because my documents reached late. My case

Customer Question

My OPT got denied because my documents reached late. My case in detail: 31st March 2015- I-20 issued 8th April 2015- I sent all documents with a photocopy of the original $380 check instead of the actual check.(Huge mistake!) 21st April- They requested
original check and sent back all documents I received all documents within a week and sent them again with the actual check. 4th May- They finally received all documents and the application is now complete. But now 30 days had elapsed since the DSO made recommendation
for my OPT 21st July- They denied my OPT because of the 30 day rule. The local congressmen have inquired about it last week but have still not received a response from USCIS.The also followed up on the inquiry, yesterday and have not heard anything. Is it
a good sign or a bad one? Is it possible that they approve it directly? Kindly let me know
