2006 Hyandai going into...

2006 Hyandai going into limp mode after running for some time. It will start, idle fine, but no power when you start to go. Check engine light on. Daughter on road now having trouble. She has turned it off, after 4-5 minutes, its fine.

She took it to a shop, they said it needed a new battery??? Put one in, has ran better, but today after 200 miles on freeway, stopped for gas, and problem back.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

That's about it. Has been having a hard time starting at times, but will start.
