Drivers side door lock only works by turning key. All electronic attempts (inside button, key fob) do not work.
JA: Have you checked the fob's battery?
Customer: Yes. Fob work for trunk, etc.
JA: What is the model/year of your Hyundai?
Customer: 2012 Genesis sedan
JA: Are you fixing your Genesis yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I will try myself. I havent tried anything yet.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I dont think so

You need to remove the Door Panel & Test the "2" wires at the Door Lock Actuator
Click Attachments Below
YELLOW & WHITE wires will show a "Reversal Rest At Ground" circuit
LOCK
One wire will Have Voltage +
One wire will have Ground -
UNLOCK
The wire that had Voltage + is now Ground -
The wire that had Ground - is now Voltage +
IF testing shows Voltage + & Ground - on "both wires"
Then the Actuator is bad

I saw the attachments but I was still unclear about how to remove the panel. I will give it a try to see if it is obvious.
