I'm trying with no luck to change the plastic left and right steering wheel trim. I can get it close to fitting but the cruise / bluetooth buttons just won't fit corredtly
JA: Do you have the car's service manual? Does the car have airbags?
Customer: it does have airbags....not sure if I have the service manual
JA: What year is your Fit?
Customer: 2011 sonata
JA: Are you fixing your Fit yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes myself. I've only tried to re-fit the trim the same way it came off

Customer: nothing I can think of....

In order to replace the trim you need to remove the steering wheel and remove the screws for the trim from the back of the steering wheel. Have you done that? If not I can send you diagrams and or walk you through the process.

A diagram would be a good start. However, I don't see any place for screws in the plain trim. It seems as to it just "clicks" in.
