have a 2009 geni with 3.8 ,, my heat system wont heat unless you keep turning to high and at idle it loses the heat a lot, and temp rises higher than normal on the gage at idel than about 2 min it comes back to normal.
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Has there been any leaking from the hoses?
Customer: just had it serviced nothing was said

Yes Im here , if you place your hands on both heater hoses at the firewall are they both getting nice and hot with the engine and heater running and warmed up?

Okay that indicates you have good flow through the core and in most cases if you have no or low heat in the car that usually means the blend door actuator is failing. I would agree with your dealer.
