JA: When you turn the key, do you get a single loud click, or a series of rapid ones?

JA: What is the model/year of your Hyundai?

Car was working fine yesterday with no problems. Shut it off at Dr. office and when we went to start it again nothing happened. All we got was one click.

2 things come to mind, you could have a bad connection at the battery, I would remove BOTh battery cables, clean and put them back on, Even if other things work? you can still have bad connection because start is higher draw of amps. so do the cables first, then? one click and full charged battery? be 100% on that then yes, starter is likely the problem, It si mounted on left side of the engine, down low, left side is between engine and radiator, 2 bolts hold it, Here is a picture of the starter,

yes, but the bolts are in the front going into the face of the starter. Hyundai does not give full details on how to change it but 2 bolts, What I would do is get a long bar and have someone try and crank and hit hard on the starter where you can with the bar, It may have just stuck that one time. here is a picture of how the bolts go in
