My high side hose from the AC compressor get very hot.
JA: Have you checked the Freon level?
Customer: Yes I put 16 onces in it today the ac blows cold but the hose is hot.
JA: What is the model of your '16 Hyundai?
Customer: 2002 Santa Fe.
JA: Are you fixing your Santa Fe yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I replaced the two main hoses. Before that it was just warm. I also added some oil to the system because some drained out when I changed the hoses.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No.

Hello and welcome to just answer. I value your input to my questions so we can solve your problems together. You will have to do a pressure test on the system to see what the pressures are doing on both the high and low sides of the system that will allow me to analize the problem rather then just gussing. Right now it could be a partially plugged expansion valve or over charged.Do both cooling fans turn on when A/C running?
