I've a shift lock issue, can't shift out of park
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you noticed any leaking?
Customer: It's a2013 Velister, 66000 miles
JA: What is the model/year of your Hyundai?
Customer: 2013 veloster
JA: Are you fixing your Veloster yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing. Used the shift lock key to shift, no turn signals, Windows
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hello and welcome to just answer and allowing me to assist you. that's good you figured out to use the shift lock bypass. the problem you are experiencing don't sound like a component problem but a power source so I would check all interior fuses. I will give you a link how to do this. Also do the brake lights work because most vehicle's get power through the brake light switch and fuse but some use diff sources so it's good to check them all.
