So the keys are in the trunk and the car is locked right?
It should. If you could get the door open you could press that button.
If the trunk release button doesn't work sometimes you can remove the trunk release fuse (on a 2015 my manual doesn't say where it's located so you might have to look in your owner's manual). Then while holding the trunk release button you put the fuse back in and it will make the trunk pop even though the ignition isn't on.
There's not much else that can be done without a spare key or a factory compatible scan tool that could be used to open the trunk.
