Customer Question

Remote door lock control package on my 2004 Sonata was replaced about 2 years ago and has worked fine since. Now, after exiting the car with doors unlocked, about 2 minutes later all doors lock without my pressing the remote button. Never did this before.
JA: OK. To minimize me, please click the down arrow at the top right corner of this box.
Customer: Is anyone there?????
JA: Are you fixing your Sonata yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no.

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I prefer to work when others don't, I am here around lunch and after dinner till after midnight.

  • Sorry no one has helped yet.
  • This is not an answer to your question, just an inquiry if your still needing/wanting help. Because I believe I can help.

Dear Moose: No problem, it is no longer auto-locking the doors. Thanks anyway.

Glad you got it resolved.

Since you have paid for help do you have another concern?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
dear *****: Since no one responded to my problem by the following day, as you stated above, and the problem resolved itself, I have allowed the $5.00 charge to my credit card but disallowed the $15 charge since no service was provided. Thank You, ***** ***** Jansen.
