2008 Hyundai won't start. Battery is up fine. When we shut it off last night running fine. Turns over great ... won't fire. or start. Gary
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: Yes .. no corrosion - battery is good.
JA: What is the model of your '08 Hyundai?
Customer: Sonata V6
JA: Are you fixing your Sonata yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes.. I simply unhooked battery and hooked it back up .. hoping it would "reset" something ..
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

check engine light being on when trying to start is ok. there should be a red security light or a key symbol on the instrument panel

ill be back ...got to look some info up. there is supposed to be a red flashing light on your dash maybe near the light sensor..... gimve me a whil thanks.

ok.... then if you cant find the security light , ...then when you turn the key to the on position, can you hear the fuel pump running for a few second?

I went and looked and the only thing that is on is the battery icon and check engine when I try to start ... and a few letters like LPSM or something like that ..
Can't hear fuel pump ... when I sprayed ... ether in the intake vents .. it tried to start .. but wouldn't ..
