Customer Question

2002 santa fe v6, I was driving it on the freeway when it just died on me, towed it home. I replace the fuel pump connections are good, change the relay too, it cranks just fine but won't fire
JA: How many miles are on the car? Has the car been starting normally?
Customer: 174k, I've had it for about 3 years and never game a problem
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Change the fuel pump relay, fuel pump, I even try spraying some stater fluid
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I also check the timing belt, haven't check for spark yet
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello I will help,

Did you get any indication of ignition when you sprayed it?

Do you know where the crank sensor is above the starter?

When you crank it does it sound normal or does it turn fast and sound "wheezy"?
