My 2010 Sonata GLS has suddenly died (twice) while going

Customer Question

My 2010 Sonata GLS has suddenly died (twice) while going freeway speeds. Very dangerous. I managed to pull over onto the shoulder and the car immediately started up again. I believe I was using the cruise control and the car was accelerating up to the speed I had set. The engine light has come on intermittently in this vehicle. PO106. map sensor

Hello, I'm Brandon - Hyundai tech.

For P0106 we had to replace the Map sensor. 9 out of 10 is the map will fix the problem.

You have to use the factory Hyundai sensor, do not use aftermarket part.

The sensor cost about $80 and it should take you about half hour to replace it.
