good evening my name is ***** ***** I will assist

2 things come to mind. fuel pump may be weak or the check valve in the pump is bad loosing prime while sitting.

the other is the crank sensor. it may have a cracked end making it work intermittently.

From my online research this seems to be a common occurrence for high mileage 2006 sonatas. Many people inquire about this problem but no one has received a solid answer. I thought there would've been a known solution for such a common problem. A Hyundai dealer will never tell even though they've delt with job before. I fuel pressure is normal, I guess I'll check the valve. Seems plausible.

I would check the pressure first
