Customer Question

This is the 1st time this has ever happened. I own 2009 sonata with 75000 miles. I left the trunk open and it must have drained my battery so I put a new one in. When I went to start it, all the gages came on like normal but would not crank and did not even make a click or any kind of noise at all. Please help

Hello I will help you with your question,

Try locking and unlocking the drivers door then crank the engine. If it does not crank leave the key on for 30 seconds, turn the key back off and then try to start it again.

No aftermarket alarm installed on this vehicle? If not then that procedure should allow you to crank the engine.

Let me know what happens

Thank you
