Customer Question

I have an automatic i30 Hyundai. When I start to take my foot off the accelerator going downhill the car revs go up to 4,000rpm. Also on corners when accelerating out of a bend it bangs into the gear. What do you think is the problem?

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.
The problem you are describing sound more like your transmission is slipping, I would start with having the computer system scanned and see if there are any fault codes setting. Post back with the results and we can work from there.
