Hyundai Accent: 2001 accent. Std transmission. Check engine

Customer Question

2001 accent. Std transmission. Check engine lite has been on for a few weeks
Last night (70○f) car would not start with no crank. Car had been driven during the day.
Jump start NG. No crank/click again.
Push start worked.
Drove 60 nitetime miles. Lights did not dim. Even with other accessories on.
Parked car in driveway and shut off. Tried restart. NG and no crank or clicks again
Have not push started since. Have not checked charging system yet but batt is reading 12vdc. Terminals, clamps & cables clean at battery.
Checked main fuses. All good.
My next step will be to check charging system and if that is good, I'll focus on the starter and wiring. Beyond checking the engine code, any other suggestions? Thank you.

Hi welcome to just answers my name is ***** ***** i hope to be of help. You will need to first confirm thet the starter relay is functional by locating it at the relay box on the engine compartment and swap the relay with another similar to the one you are checking, have some one crank the engine and see if you hear the relay clicking as the key is turn to cranking posititon.
