Hyundai Tucson GLS: need to replace the alternator on my 2006

need to replace the alternator on my 2006 hyundai tucson 2.7L. Can't see any way to remove it even with the wheel off. there's no plastic on the inner fender to remove...its all metal.

Hi. You are correct about the inner fender. To get the alternator out you need to remove the right hand axle. Then the alternator will come out that way.
