Should my driver's side headlamp light up the road differently then the passenger side?

Hello...welcome and thank you for using justanswer.
I am not sure if this answers your question , but...NO ,the head lights work together ,each one lights up the road on they're side with same intensity/light ,they aim to one spot ,closer or far ,depends if you have low or high beams.
If the passenger side goes out ,you almost don't see the difference on your side ,only if you look to the front right of the vehicle you will notice less light.
