Hello I will help you with your question,
What switch are you using? Is it a toggle switch?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

A small slide switch that goes from off to set

Can you post a picture?
This vehicle was sold in the US?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Yes, it is US, and if you give me a moment I can go snap a photo.

Great, I am here for another hour.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Here's the photo, a little blurred, sorry.alarm box?

Expert:  George H. replied 2 years ago.
I can't say I have ever seen one of those.
It looks like it might be aftermarket. Do you have old keyfobs and are the new ones Hyundai two button fobs?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Should be factory. Here's pics of the fobs, original with keys and the new one:fob

Expert:  George H. replied 2 years ago.
Those fobs are not the same, is the part number the same?
I will tell you how I program them, as I say I have never seen that switch and I have taken apart hundreds of dashes on these.
Look next to the data link connector under the dash and you will see a white rectangular connector with 10 pins. Hyundai has an adapter cable that plugs into that connector and into the HiScan tool that is the dealer scantool. I bring up the remote learn function on the scantool and then it directs me to press the first remote then the second. Disconnect and I am done.
I have heard rumors of a set button on Euro sold vehicles but none of the ones I have worked on have it.
I don't think I can help you with this so I am going to OPT OUT of your question and maybe one of the other techs will have a suggestion for you. Make sure your part numbers match, lots of clone stuff on ebay.

Thanks anyway. Guess I'll have to check with the dealer.
