2001 hyundai sonata: while driving or at stop keeps cutting

Resolved Question:

my 2001 hyundai sonata keeps cutting off while driving or at stop light. I've taken it to get checked out twice and both times I'm told can't knid anything wrong with the car. The battery was replaced because it died and still the car keeps cutting off. Can you tell me what the problem might be?

Did you still need help?

Are there any codes in the computer?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The car was hook up to the computer and it showed that everything was alright with the car. No codes indicating that there's any type of problem with the car.

Ok.. then chances are you have a bad crankshaft position sensor. This is very common with this vehicle. It will not even show a code when it goes bad because it does not go outside of the parameter.

I would start with the crank sensor and go from there..
