I have a honeywell pro series thermostat. JA: Is there anything else the HVAC Tech should know before I connect you?Customer: no It has nev her been in a programmed mode, just in “Cool” mode which is where I would like it.Answer Summary
Please be patient it can take a few minutes for me to respond. The thermostat goes into TEMP (temporary hold) mode when you adjust the temp manually. It always runs the program unless it is on HOLD or TEMP.You gave me the series. There are dozens of models in this series.

The thermostat goes into TEMP (temporary hold) mode when you adjust the temp manually. It will stay in that mode until the next programmed cycle then reverts back to the programming.
