The first thing to check is the spill switch if it has one. It would be located at the top or side of the fireplace and will have a red reset button.

The next thing is to disconnect the ignition spark / sensor from the control module and with an ohms meter see if it will 0 out between the end of the wire and the spark ignition rod. if it doesn't 0 out the wire and or the spark / sensor is bad. The next thing would be the ignition control module.
