My gas heater will not stay lit after I hold the turn on valve the required time. Dyna-Glo Pro 30,000-50,000 propane heater

Contractor's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?

Just a week. Two tries. Used to work fine

No it goes completely off.

Ok, then you need to replace the thermocouple or thermopile. Thermocouples have a heavy bare copper wire connected to the gas valve. Thermopiles have a small shielded cable with 2 leads connected to the gas valve.
