My Honeywell thermostat is...

My Honeywell thermostat is showing cool, but blowing hot. I did do something to it: I took it back to 39:0 to reset the wifi after a new system was installed.

Contractor's Assistant: Just to clarify, do you think this is a larger HVAC problem, or something specific to the thermostat?

I think thermostat because it was working fine until i reset the wifi

Contractor's Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

Well, i don't know what work there is, it seems to be a setting on the thermostat, most likely the system type is set incorrectly but i don't know how that could have happened

Hello, so far it sounds like you have a heat pump system and that the reversing valve is not working or stuck.

.

So I can be sure take a close up, exceedingly well focused photo of the wiring diagram glued inside the furnace/air handler door, and I will mark it up with trouble shooting instructions. Use the 'add files' link next to your send button to get the photo(s) to me. Include a photo of the thermostat wire connections at the thermostat, by prying the front of the thermostat from its sub base gently to expose the wire connections.
