JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: I'm trying to install a Smart baseboard heater which indicates 240V but the wiring diagram doesn't show how the second hot line connects.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: The wiring is already in place for 240V. I just need to know how to connect to the heater.

The 240 volts is across the line. There is no ground one side to ground is 120 volts. If you need more information Brand, Model #.
