I have an American Standard freedom 90 furnace. The

I have an American...

I have an American Standard freedom 90 furnace. The indicator light is flashing green however every 40 seconds or so there is one red flash and returns to a green flashing light. Is this an era code or I need a technician?

Contractor's Assistant: Did you check the furnace's filters?

The filter is new. I replaced the electrostatic air filter with a fabric filter. But the filter is clean.

Contractor's Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

If I can yes

Contractor's Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?

The heat performance is fine, the variable speed fan is fine. There appeared to be no problems in performance.

Look for a list of the codes on a wiring diagram or label inside of the blower compartment door there should be a list of the trouble codes and they may be small to see.
