Had Honeywell 8320 going...

Had Honeywell 8320 going to Honeywell rth2300. What is the k/s2 wire.

Contractor's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?

Today

Contractor's Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

Yup

Contractor's Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?

Not really. Old unit was installed by electric company, had hookups to r, w, c & k/s2

Contractor's Assistant: Did you double-check the thermostat? And what about the unit's filters?

The old thermostat totally died. Completely blank even with new batteries. New filter installed.

Not sure I have seen the K/S 2? The S2 is for a remote sensor. What wires were connected on old and to what terminals?
