Carrier infinity system. Had power outage. Now thermostat can't locate outside unit
JA: Just to clarify, do you think this is a larger HVAC problem, or something specific to the thermostat?
Customer: System had been working fine until power went out. System and thermostat is one year old.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?

Try turning breakers off then back on to both units and see if it will reset

I've tried that several times. The Infinity Touch Screen thermostat reads, "Error! Outdoor unit has wrong size for indoor unit. 60 Kbtufound...36 Kbtu maximum" All the sreen will allow me to do is "Retry"

What is model on the indoor unit?Manual states the fault is generated by fan coil and refers us to see fan coil manual
