I have a Honewell 2 zone system with 2ea, Vision Pro T8000

Customer Question

I have a Honewell 2 zone system with 2ea, Vision Pro T8000 series t-stats. 1 mounted downstairs for control of the first floor zone, and one mounted upstairs for the upstairs zone. Is there a time delay between the 2 zones. For example: If the upstairs zone is off, and the downstairs zone satisfies and shuts off, what happens if the upstairs zone calls for on right after the downstairs zone shuts off?
JA: Have you talked to a construction professional about the floor?
Customer: What does this have to do with what I just asked you?
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: The system has already been installed by a qualified, licensed contractor.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Please read my first question.

My name is Billy.

To protect the compressor there is a 5 minute delay built in the zone control.

If by chance your condenser also has a 5 minute delay (which would be redundant) you could have up to 10 minutes.

If there is one in the outdoor unit it could be removed.
