Hello, I recently tried to update a thermostat to our system. Come to find out its a trol a temp by Honeywell. We have a 3 zone system and it is the master control. I was told by a company that I have to upgrade my zoning board or put the old thermostat back on and that nothing else will work. I broke the old one when taking off. Is there anything that would work thermostat wise without replacing the board?
JA: Just to clarify, do you think this is a larger HVAC problem, or something specific to the thermostat?
Customer: I was told its the thermostat that only works with the zoning board.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
