JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: haven't replaced the filters in a while. thermostat is set to 70 but temp in house is 63 and falling. I suppose replacing filters is an easy thing to try.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: probably not
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: no that's it. cold day here in PA, about an inch of snow on the roof.

Do you have a multi-meter?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
No. I do not have a voltmeter
Expert:  WCohn replied 9 months ago.

Well, we need to check the voltage at the low voltage transformer. Or call a service tech and have them do it.
