I have a very basic heating system it a cast iron fake stove

Customer Question

I have a very basic heating system it a cast iron fake wood stove that runs on propane - my thermostat seemed to stop working so I bought a honeywell ct87 - I only have two wires - red and white I'm quite sure I connected them properly but it doesn't seem to work - can you help me?
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: I'm not sure I know what you mean?
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
