My York furnace with Rodgers 50A50-241 attempts to ignite

Customer Question

My York furnace with White Rodgers 50A50-241 attempts to ignite but fails after a couple of seconds. After about about 5 attempts the blower starts and blows cold air and the red blinking light flashes 8 times. Any ideas?

can you tell me if the flame is actually hitting the sensor?
