Having trouble with my furnace not working. Blower motor kicks on but the furnace will not fire.
JA: Did you check the furnace's filters?
Customer: just replaced them and cleaned the blower fins
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Not sure as of yet
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Not that I can think of. Then smaller motor think its called the reducer motor is not turning on either

Welcome to Just Answer, my name is ***** ***** I will do my best to help you with your issue. First I’ll need some more info so I have a more complete picture of you situation.

If the draft inducer (small fan on the front) doesn't work nothing else will happen. It's the first thing that needs to start up and create a draft before the burners will fire up. Is the inducer motor hot to the touch?

That limits what we can do to trouble shoot this. There are a coule things we can try without one. Do you want to give it a go? If so you'll have to jump the R & W terminals on the furnace thermostat terminal strip. Do you know where that is?
