our taco plumb n plug cartridge circulator model 003 or 006 was left plugged in while water supply was turned off->currently not recirculing water. is there a reset button to press-
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: this is in our second home- someone was here and turned off the water and did not unplug it- so about 1 month he unplugged the humidifier by mistake
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: no- we were wondering if there was a safely built in and it just needs to be reset
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I don't think so

There is no reset. It can burn up if it runs too long with no water moving. Is it not working?

You'll probably need to replace it. The pump is water cooled. If it ran for a month with no water it likely burned up.
