My IComfort thermostat is reporting "CRITICAL ALERT CODE

Customer Question

Hello, My IComfort thermostat is reporting "CRITICAL ALERT CODE 35". The flame does not seem to be igniting. Is there anything I can do before calling emergency service?
JA: Just to clarify, do you think this is a larger HVAC problem, or something specific to the thermostat?
Customer: I think it is a HVAC problem. I shut power off to the furnace, waited 10 minutes and turned it back on. The error code went away and the furnace attempted to ignite but did not. After 3 attempts, the critical alert code 35 reappeared.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If I can, yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Its getting cold in the house.
